Even now, a few days after the election, it still feels a little unreal. I am honored to have the opportunity to represent this community as a member of the Grandview Heights School Board.
The weeks leading up to the election have been an amazing experience. Time and time again I was reminded how Grandview Heights is a community that values its children and its schools. Many of you have shared openly your thoughts and concerns. It has provided me with many things to think about.
The community members also have inspired me to be an advocate for education and our students. I have meet some truly great people and am inspired to give my all to this community for our students and our future. As we move forward, I hope to continue to hear from all of you as you share your thoughts about the parts of our school district of which you are most proud as well as those elements that could be improved.
Thank you to all my colleagues, friends, and family who have supported me in this process. Most of all, thank you to the voters for entrusting me to a position on the board. I am incredibly excited and cannot wait to begin work.
